Concord Students Awarded Degrees at St. Lawrence University's Commencement Ceremony
Students honored at May 22 ceremony in New York.
The following Concord students were among the 548 students awarded a degree at St. Lawrence University's Commencement ceremony, held May 22 on campus in Canton, New York: Daley E. O'Herron, of Concord, was awarded a degree in sociology, with a minor in educational studies. O'Herron graduated from Westminster School. Christopher J. Walek, of Concord, was awarded a degree in economics and environmental studies. Walek graduated from Trinity-Pawling School. The Commencement speakers were Garry Trudeau, creator of the comic strip Doonesburyand Mary DiSanto-Rose, associate professor of dance at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
