Here's the latest on how you need to prepare for Winter Storm Nemo in Concord.
Looks like Nemo is going to find us ... (Come on, you knew we couldn't get through this storm without at least one Pixar reference). As the day of Winter Storm Nemo's arrival draws closer, the forecasts aren't getting any less hairy. Looking at a couple of accumulation maps reveals that 16 inches for the Concord area appears to be the bare minimum. Eighteen inches minimum actually shows up on more maps, and the maximum numbers are at two feet or more. Fox 25 meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz told Patch via a tweet that he'd recommend people head home by 3 p.m. Friday ("to be safe"), especially if they plan to use the T. Several inches of snow could fall in Eastern Massachusetts from the winter storm.
A snow storm will roll into Eastern Massachusetts Monday afternoon and continue through Tuesday morning, dumping a few inches of snow in the area. The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch for much of Massachusetts beginning Monday afternoon -- though it was just a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Concord as of Sunday night. The heaviest snow will be along the coast of Massachusetts, where 4 to 8 inches of snow could fall, but the storm watch includes the cities of Boston and Cambridge. Further inland, snowfall is expected to between 1 to 3 inches, according to the forecast by WHDH Channel 7. Stay tuned to Patch for updates on the storm.

The winter storm packed quite a punch down in the South; but what does it mean for Concord?
The large winter storm that dropped inches of snow in the South is now headed towards the Northeast, although little snow accumulation is expected in Concord. According to the National Weather Service's latest forecast, several inches of snow are expected to fall in the western part of the state tonight, but with temperatures hovering around 40 degrees in Concord, the snow is expected to change over to rain or icy rain after midnight. According to the WHDH 7Weather Blog, the snow will start tonight between 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. and quickly turn to rain in the Boston area.
