ReplyI know that all do did agree on Concord's Bottle water Ban. But the folks who have the highest conscious level did come to the Town Meeting and they all voted. The ban passed once more by 66 votes. So the Majority agreed. Even those of you who did not agree - deep down in your hearts - we all know it is the right thing to do! Thanks for coming and voting! Our form of government has some faults as we all know, but it is the best form of government we have! Because it works! Bill Montague

ReplyI for one am Proud of my town of Concord -- after our Town Meetings. I just goes to show that -- the Sprit of Thoreau is Alive and Well in Concord. All great movements in the world started small! Our Nation was started with "The Shot Herd Around the Wold" - was a small one. But it started us on the road to Freedom for our nation! Cheers! ReplyAs many of you know it was a team of citizens from at least Concord and perhaps Acton who went up to Nuclear Metals with giger counters and discoverd the radiation problem. So my heart goes out to those active citizens who first of all became aware that there may be a problem - then took action - discoverd there was a problem! Them issued a complaint, and I do not know what all they did. But it just goes to show you what great people we have here in our town. We cannot help but be inspired by those folks who we depend on over the years to help make all of our lives better. My hat goes off to all the Activist in Concord! I have seen them in action for many years. Thank you all! Bill Montague

ReplyHi folks, I would ask children for their input about money. Growing up is a two way process. Children are very bright! Let them express themselves - we all may learn by what they have to say - expecially about money. Cheers! Bill Montague

Mr Pimperton, There is no right or wrong! Everyone has his or her own opinion and they are all Right. We just happen to have a form of government where the Majoity of the Minority rule. A small minority of voters go to Town Meeting the rest of the voters allow those who go to decided what passess and what fails. You can write all the comments you like - the majority has spoken for the 3rd time. They approve of the Ban. The ban is in place. Give it a rest! Cheers! Bill Montague
