I think the people who voted "A tattoo parlor?!? Not In My Back Yard!", either have seen too many movies that portray the old stereotype of a tattoo parlor, or haven't been to a tattoo parlor in 50 years! Nowadays, they are monitored by the state and strict regulations and health code rules are enforced. The tattoo parlors I've been to are more hygienic than some doctor's offices I've been to! The place that Kurt Brown is trying to open is NOT some stereotypical seedy joint from long ago, with questionable needles, walls discolored by smoke, and clientele consisting of gang-bangers and local thugs... NO.... it's going to be modern, hygienic and serving regular people who appreciate his style of artwork. He’s just a young family man trying to start a business, in a place he really likes….I say give the guy a chance!
