New Concord Business Gives Home Decor 'a new leaf' On Life

Officially opening today, June 15, a new leaf is a West Concord consignment shop specializing in new art and old furnishings.

Editor's Note: A previous version of this story misidentified the business a new leaf is replacing as Forever Tile, which is still very much open and located at 45 Commonwealth Ave., in West Concord, not 75 Comm Ave.

Who says you can't give old furnishings new digs? Not Peggy Wright.

The Concord resident has opened "a new leaf," a West Concord shop specializing in redesigned and consigned home furnishings, along with some of Wright's new artwork.

Located at 75 Commonwealth Ave., in West Concord, a new leaf opened softly earlier this week, but a bigger production is planned for today, June 15.

The name above the door still says Quilter's Way, but the plans -- true to form -- are to recycle and refurbish the sign.
