Charles Ives' Concord Sonata Piano Concert

On Friday, July 12th, at 7:30pm, Charles Ives' Concord Sonata will be performed at First Parish in Concord, 20 Lexington Rd., Concord, MA. The four movements - Emerson, Hawthorne, Alcotts and Thoreau – will be performed by concert pianists Leslie Amper and Randy Hodgkinson.


Special guest, opera singer Robert Honeysucker, will also sing Tom Bowling, Thoreau’s favorite song.


Concert tickets are $20, and can be purchased in advance or at the door.

This event is part of The Thoreau Society’s Annual Gathering, July 10 – 14, a multidisciplinary festival that explores ways in which Henry David Thoreau inspires creativity in the 21st century.
